Standup comedy?
Omaha standup comedy
Omaha’s standup comedy scene is happening right under the noses of its residents. With at least three open mics a week and shows booked every Friday and Saturday, local standup comedians are building a community right alongside the amazing local arts Omaha has to offer.
That’s why I’m proud to help produce a local program featuring these talented and funny people. In collaboration with KPAO Community Television, Omaha’s public access channel, my husband and I volunteer our time to tape 28-minute TV episodes that air on COX Channel 22 and CenturyLink Channel 89 (Schedule). Each episode is also posted here on YouTube.👇
Oma-Ha! A Standup Comedy TV Show is done live-to-tape in front of a studio audience, with a host who warms up the crowd, followed by three comedians with 8-minute sets.
The KPAO studio gives us a high production value with a 4-camera shoot, quality lighting and great sound! It’s really awesome!
KPAO is a great community resource that I’m honored to support and serve as a member of the Cable Television Access Corporation Board of Directors. If you have an idea for a show, get in touch with me or the studio manager, Mike Wallace!
Get out and see some Omaha comedy!
